Employed by Mintz Associates, Aesthetic Images had complete design detail and construction management control for the project. This was a 45 room infill and new construction project. An existing office building was raised for a 34 room new addition reusing the existing foundation and 11 rooms were also in filled at the back of the existing hotel. The entire eighth floor of the new addition consisted of a floor to ceiling glass curtain wall with shade awnings used to control sunlight and temperature. Cozy balconies were a special feature designed for all of the new rooms and the eighth floor penthouse rooms sport spacious roof top terraces. All of the construction took place while this most exclusive hotel was in operation with no disruption to guests.
